Jaz fuel cell sending units work great with many brands of gauges. When
deciding which sender to use, first determine what ohm range the gauge you want
to use will allow, then measure the maximum depth the fuel cell will fit.. When
installing use a hole saw to cut a tight fitting bore for the sender tube, then
place the sender into the cell and mark the bolt hole pattern in the orientation
you want the sender. Remove the fuel sending unit and drill the holes. Clean up
any slag that may have dropped into the fuel cell and then install the o-ring
gasket and fuel level sending unit. Tighten the fuel sending unit bolts and
connect the proper wires to their terminals. Fuel sending units are not
generally exact, but will give you an idea of how much fuel you have.
