Fox O.E. Shocks
Fox O.E. shocks have been designed, tested and tuned to bolt into your vehicle's stock suspension with no fabrication needed. They are still built to the high standards as the Fox racing shocks. And are completely rebuildable and revalveable to suit your needs.
| | 2.0 Fox Emulsion Shocks
Fox Emulsion Shocks are best suited for light duty applications. It is very important to keep the shock mounted as close to vertical as you can. There is no IFP to keep the oil separated from the high pressure nitrogen, and you can run into performance problems in extreme off camber situations. For a street driven application they are more than enough, but in off road conditions that subject the shocks to excessive heat from use, a reservoired shock is recommended. A 7/8" shaft will help give more resistance to compression and act more like an air spring than the 5/8" shaft, but is heavier and more expensive.

2.0 Fox Remote Reservoir Shocks
Fox 2.0 Reservoir Shocks are the highest quality in light duty racing shocks. Reservoirs are designed to increase the oil capacity. This increase in oil capacity prevents the shock oil from overheating and breaking down. When shock oil overheats the damping effect of the shock is lessened. So to insure consistent handling and performance a reservoir is an excellent feature. We recommend these for light vehicles individually or on heavier vehicles with more than one shock per corner. Fox reservoir shocks can be mounted at any angle as the IFP in the reservoir keeps the oil and nitrogen separated. The larger diameter 7/8" shaft helps resist compression and works more like an air spring than the 5/8" shaft. But while the larger shaft is stronger it is also heavier and more expensive.

2.5 Fox Remote Reservoir Shocks
Fox 2.5 Reservoir Shocks are an excellent heavy duty damper. With the significantly increased oil volume and the large diameter piston head these shocks can do the equivalent work of two 2.0 shocks! The added benefit of running one 2.5 vs. two 2.0 shocks are the decrease in wearing parts as well as significantly heavier duty hardware. Unlike other brands of racing shocks Fox only has one level of product quality, the best! No corners are cut to meet a certain price, as Fox makes so many of these the price is naturally lower than the competitions price point product. These can be run on just about any type of vehicle. For something that will hold up a vehicle you might consider 2.5 Fox Air Shocks or 2.5" Fox Coil Overs as these are dampers only. Buy once, buy right, buy the best!
| | 3.0 Fox Remote Reservoir Shocks
Fox 3.0 Reservoir Shocks are an excellent heavy duty damper. With the significantly increased oil volume and the large diameter piston head these shocks can just about any suspension! Unlike other brands of racing shocks Fox only has one level of product quality, the best! No corners are cut to meet a certain price, as Fox makes so many of these the price is naturally lower than the competitions price point product. These can be run on just about any type of vehicle. For something that will hold up a vehicle you might consider 2.5 Fox Air Shocks or 2.5" and 3" Fox Coil Overs as these are dampers only. Buy once, buy right, buy the best!

2.0 Fox Coil Over Emulsion Shocks
Fox 2.0 Emulsion Coil Over Shocks are high quality light duty suspension components. These shocks are perfect for the light buggy or rockcrawler suspension. These can even be run in tandem with a bypass for your racing suspension. The coil carrier design, featuring a 1.25" shaft, is the ultimate in strength, but is meant to function primarily as a spring in conjunction with another damper. Fox Coilovers feature all the hardware necessary for dual rate suspension and come in many sizes. As with all emulsion shocks they need to be mounted upright or extreme camber situations can cause undeisrable performance. Fox coil overs also offer an optional 7/8" shaft which resists compression and acts more like an air spring than the 5/8" shafts. The downside of using the larger shaft is the extra weight and cost.
| | 2.0 Fox Coil Over Remote Reservoir Shocks
Fox Shocks 2.0 Coil Over Reservoir shocks are the ultimate in light duty performance. These shocks suit the widest variety of applications ranging from sand rails to extreme rockcrawlers. The benefit of running a reservoir shock is the ability to mount it at any angle and configuration with consistent performance. Not only does the reservoir add extra oil capacity and thus increase the duty of the shock, but the IFP in the reservoir separates the nitrogen from the oil completely. 2.0 coil overs also boast the widest range of spring rates available, so you are sure to be able to find something to work for your application. All Fox Coilovers come complete with all necessary hardware, just add springs! Fox offers 5/8" shafts or the heavier duty 7/8" shaft shock which helps resist compression and work more like an air spring. All Fox coil overs over 10" travel utilize 7/8" shafts for added strength.

2.0 Fox Coil Over Piggyback Shocks
Fox 2.0 Coil Over Piggy Back Reservoir Shocks are an excellent light-duty coil over shock. As with the remote reservoir version the piggyback reservoir model offers additional oil capacity and comes in many sizes. The unique function of Fox's piggyback models are the ability of the reservoir to swivel 360 degrees around the shock body for ease on fitment. We recommend these shocks for light weight vehicles, rockcrawlers, or on vehicles looking for a little extra "Bling, bling." The disadvantage of the piggyback shocks are a decrease in performance due to inefficient flow of oil to and from the reservoir and of course the cost. But they certainly give the installation a finished look. All Fox 2.0 piggy back shocks come with dual rate hardware and have the option of the 5/8" or the 7/8" shaft which works more like an air spring than the 5/8" shaft. All Fox Coil Overs over 10" travel utilize a 7/8" shaft.
| | 2.5 Fox Coil Over Emulsion Shocks
Fox 2.5 Coil Over shocks are an excellent heavy duty product. We recommend these for customers who are thinking of going with dual shocks but don't want the hassle of more than one shock. These shocks work well on most types of suspension, but like all emulsion shocks they need to be mounted as close to vertical as possible to prevent undesirable performance in extreme off camber situations. Another drawback of the non reservoir model is less cooling capacity, which is important when driving for extended periods of time. But for the right application these will usually be more than enough.

2.5 Fox Coil Over Remote Reservoir Shocks
Fox 2.5 Coil Overs are some of the most versatile heavy duty off road shocks available. Fox uses nothing but the best in their product, and the 2.5 series is proof positive. We recommend these for anyone looking to go with a durable and user friendly coil over for high performance applications. 2.5" Fox Shocks are able to produce the equivalent work of two 2.0 shocks. This is beneficial because mounting, tuning, and maintaining more than one shock can be time consuming. All Fox 2.5 Coil Overs come complete with dual rate hardware, just add springs! We don't recommend these for vehicles with less than 200 lbs. per corner. Buy once, buy right, buy the best!
| | 2.5 Fox Coil Over Piggyback Shocks
Fox Dual Rate Piggyback Coil Overs are a good mix of performance and style. We recommend these shocks for anyone looking for a high quality heavy duty coil over with a little extra "Bling, Bling." For Those looking for maximum performance we would recommend the remote reservoir model as the piggyback reservoir doesn't let oil flow into and out of the reservoir as efficiently. The compact design and clean profile make these shocks both functional and good looking.

3.0 Fox Coil Over Remote Reservoir Shocks
Fox 3.0 Coil Overs are some of the most heavy duty off road shocks available. Fox uses nothing but the best in their product, and the 3.0 series is proof positive. We recommend these for race or extreme applications only as the required coil springs are extremely expensive and have far fewer available rates than the 2.5" Fox Shocks. 3.0" Fox Shocks are able to produce the equivalent work of three 2.0 shocks. This is beneficial because mounting, tuning, and maintaining more than one shock can be time consuming. All Fox 3.0 Coil Overs come complete with dual rate hardware, just add springs! We don't recommend these for vehicles with less than 600 lbs. per corner. Buy once, buy right, buy the best!
| | 2.0 Fox External Bypass Shocks
Fox 2.0 Bypass Shocks are a work of art. We recommend these for anyone interested in maximizing performance on a lighter weight vehicle. The main benefit of a bypass shock is multi-stage valving. With dual rate coil over suspension becoming the norm more drivers are realizing that a single damper cannot perform well for each spring rate. So with the switch to multi rate springs comes multi rate valving. As with all external bypass shocks the oil bypasses the piston head inside the shock by flowing thru the external tubes. The external adjustment is adjusted by an allen bolt on the end of the tubes that opens or closes a needle and seat type valve. This regulates the flow of the oil and thereby the rate of "Bypass"

2.5 Fox External Bypass Shocks
Fox 2.5 Bypass Shocks are a work of art. We recommend these for anyone interested in maximizing performance on a medium weight vehicle. This regulates the flow of the oil and thereby the rate of "Bypass" Run these Fox Bypass Shocks for maximum adjustability!
| | 2.5 Fox Internal Bypass Shocks
Fox Internal Bypass Shocks are an innovative way of achieving multiple spring rates and damping rates all in one shock. The working components of a Fox Internal Bypass Shock are from 2" shocks and so are best on light weight vehicles, like the from of a sandrail. If you have very limited space to mount shocks on a play car this is an excellent option. The downsides of this shock versus an external bypass is that this shock required disassembly for adjustment and uses the more expensive 3" I.D. coil springs.

2.0 Fox Air Shocks
Fox 2.0 Air shocks are a good light-weight and cost effective alternative to coilover suspension. Fox air shocks use a 1.25" shaft to displace the nitrogen's volume, which creates the extreme pressures necessary to provide spring force. Fox air shocks provide 1.15 pounds of spring force for every pound of nitrogen pressure from 50-500 psi. Fox Air shocks are adjustable in pressure range and compression ratio via the addition and reduction of oil. We recommend these on light-weight vehicles or rockcrawlers. Disadvantages of Fox Air shocks are the reliance of high pressure gas containment, single spring rates, significantly reduced oil capacity, and difficult adjustment and tuning. These shocks must be mounted upright as extreme camber situations can produce undesirable performance. But for the right application these shocks are simple and effective.
| | 2.0 Fox Coil Over Air Shocks

2.5 Fox Air Shocks
New from Fox Racing Shox is the 2.5" Fox Air Shock. These heavy duty and still light-weight shocks boast heavy duty hardware like the huge 1.625" shaft, but in the typical compact airshock design. We recommend these shocks for anyone considering the standard 2.0 air shocks who might be concerned about duty or the heavy weight of their vehicles. Like all Fox 2.5" Racing Shocks these Air Shocks are top quality. More technical data will follow as the new technology develops. Keep in mind that the same disadvantages that affect the 2.0 Air Shocks are a problem for the 2.5's. A simple misconception is that air shocks are easily adjustable. There is not a way to separately adjust ride height or spring rate. Compression ratio is adjusted via the addition and subtraction of oil, and like all emulsions the shock must be mounted as vertical as possible to prevent undesirable performance in extreme off camber situations. For the right application these are an excellent alternative to coil over suspension.
| | Challenger Series
Limited Class Racers know that when you are pushing your suspension to the limits it helps to be confident you have the best shocks available. Fox Shocks has met the demand for both class 9 and class 11 suspensions with these high quality shocks. They even have extra long hoses to provide you with the mounting reach necessary.

Steering Stabilizers - .625" Shafts
Fox Racing Shocks now offers these steering dampers. The longer damper as pictured works well with Ford Superdutys and the smaller one works well for buggies and sandrails. These dampers are gas pressureized and so will cause a vehicle with only one to drift slightly. You can minimize this affect by lowering the pressure in the shock. The 2.0 steering stabilizer from Fox Shocks is tunable.
| | Fox Bump Stops
Fox Air Bumpstops are an excellent way to create secondary suspension. These shocks can provide just over 500 lbs./in in spring force and also provide damping resistance. 1.105 lbs/in per psi nitrogen is the spring force avaialble from 50-500 psi. Fox Bumpstops are a great way to smooth out even the harshest hits while protecting your chassis from the extreme energy transfer of bottom out impact. These are available in 2.0 and 2.5 series and are recommended on just about any application!
