Fox Shocks - 2.0 Pro-Series External Bypass ShockFox 2.0 Bypass Shocks are a work of art. We recommend these for anyone interested in maximizing performance on a lighter weight vehicle. The main benefit of a bypass shock is multi-stage valving. With dual rate coil over suspension becoming the norm more drivers are realizing that a single damper cannot perform well for each spring rate. So with the switch to multi rate springs comes multi rate valving. As with all external bypass shocks the oil bypasses the piston head inside the shock by flowing thru the external tubes. The external adjustment is adjusted by an allen bolt on the end of the tubes that opens or closes a needle and seat type valve. This regulates the flow of the oil and thereby the rate of "Bypass"
