This Micro Stub is machined from high grade aircraft
alloy steel, next the part is heat treated, then all bearing
diameters are finish ground, and lastly the whole part is
black oxide treated for long life from the elements. Using
micro stubs locates the outboard cv "farther" outboard
without using an expensive full floating driveline. This
allows for longer axles and increased wheel travel while
lowering the angle on the cv's.
